Positioning and Credo
The ATM Solutions Group (ASG) is a privately owned,
independent leader in the electronic payments industry in Southern
Africa and other key emerging markets.
We regard our primary role as a bank independent
ATM service provider to predominantly non bank-branch, retail locations
in a simple, cost effective manner. This is achieved whilst still
delivering value to our banking partners and their customers.
Our secondary role is as a generalist payments
service provider crossing the broad spectrum of electronic payments
channels, including inter alia, card issuing, POS acquiring, online
processing and EFT management.
ASG seeks to be a preferred provider of payment
services, achieving this through a detailed understanding of the
needs of our customers, constant innovation, technical competence,
entrepreneurial flair and operational excellence.
ASG subscribes to business principles and ethics,
which include ensuring:
- Unquestioned integrity in all its dealings
- Total compliance with all the laws of the land but in particular
those related to electronic payment processing, clearing and
settlement.
- Collaborative relationships with relevant national bodies
including, the South African Reserve Bank, National Treasury,
Bankserve and the International Card Associations.
- Working with banking partners whose incentives are closely
aligned with their own.
We see the employment and retention of competent
and committed management and staff as the foundation of all our
achievements and relationships.
ASG will render an acceptable risk adjusted return
to shareholders by eliminating or avoiding any relationships, structures,
processes or activities that add more cost than benefit for their
customers.
