- Steven
Kark - Executive Chairman
|
Steven holds a B Comm Degree (Wits) and a Post Graduate
Diploma of Business Administration (Thames University,
London). He commenced his business career at Interbrand,
the main operating subsidiary of Brandcorp Limited, where
he became a Director.
In 1999 he co-founded the ATM Solutions Group (formerly
the Kanderlane Group) and under his leadership the company
grew into the dominant player in the electronic payments
industry in Southern Africa, winning the KPMG Unlisted
Company of the Year Award in 2003 and attracting an investment
by Ethos in 2006.
The Kanderlane Group merged with Jawmend Rossi (JMR)
to form Transaction Capital in 2007 and he led the new
Group in the first stage of its formation.
In addition to his Group responsibilities, Steven is
an Executive Director of Transaction Capital.
A previous recipient of the Investec Jewish Entrepreneur
of the Year Award, Steven is the Chairman of the Association
of Payment System Operators (ASO), a member of the Institute
of Directors and a global board member of ATMIA.

- Stephen
Hochstadter - Chief Financial Officer
|
Stephen holds a B Acc CA (SA) qualification and joined
the ATM Solutions Group as CFO in March 2008.
He has spent 24 years at a senior management level in
commerce, mainly in retail, distribution and services
industries. Having operated in both listed and unlisted
Groups, Stephen has gained extensive experience in all
financial, operational and corporate aspects of business.
He joined the Metro Cash and Carry Group in 1984 and
over the next seven years Stephen held various financial
positions, becoming Group Financial Director.
In 1991 he joined the W & A / FSI Group where he fulfilled
a financial and operational role in a portfolio of retail
and distribution businesses. Thereafter Stephen spent
seven years with the Forza / CMH Group as Commercial Director
of the Forza Group, and Managing Director of CMH Marine
and Leisure.

- Wayne
Abramson - Executive Director
|
Wayne, who joined the ATM Solutions Group (Pty) Ltd in
February 2003, is the CEO of ATM Solutions (Pty) Ltd,
and an Executive Director of ATM Solutions Group (Pty)
Ltd.
From 1999 to 2003 Wayne was involved in investment banking
and corporate finance at Gensec Bank, and prior to that
he worked in the audit division of Arthur Andersen, South
Africa from 1995 to 1998. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered
Financial Analyst, Wayne holds a B Comm Degree (Cum Laude)
and a B Acc Degree (Wits).

- Philip
Froom - Executive Director
|
Philip holds a B Comm (Cum Laude) Degree
and a B Comm Hons (Taxation) Degree (Wits). In addition,
he is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial
Analyst.
Philip is the founder and Managing
Director of EFTPOS and DrawCard.
After completing articles at Grant Thornton, Philip joined
Mettle, providing expert advice regarding securitisations,
debt structuring, leveraged buyouts, due diligence investigations
and valuations. He pioneered the introduction of electronic
gift and prepaid cards into the South African market and
has a wealth of prepaid card experience.

Hendrik holds a B Comm (Hons) Degree in Accounting (Pretoria).
After completing his articles and qualifying as a Chartered
Accountant, he held the position of Manager at KMG Aiken
and Carter (now KPMG).
Thereafter Hendrik was a Senior Lecturer in Auditing
at UNISA, Financial Manager of SA Mint, Director of a
group of companies in the building industry, and Head
of Group Finance of Saambou Bank. His close involvement
in Banking, Short Term Insurance, Life Assurance and all
other aspects of the Group's activities added to his extensive
knowledge and experience.
His involvement in the payments environment continued
until he established and headed a division that focused
fully on payments for the bank.
Hendrik served on the Board of Bankserv and was also
a Board Member of the Council of the Payments Association
of South Africa (PASA), until he was appointed as the
Chief Officer of PASA in 2002. He held this position until
January 2007 when he joined the ATM Solutions Group (formerly
Transaction Capital Payment Services) as Head of Payment
Strategies.
In addition to his Group responsibilities, Hendrik has
also been Managing Director of BDB Data Bureau since the
purchase of the company on 25 April 2008.

- Jill
Phelps - Human Resources Executive
|
Jill holds a B Comm (Hons) Degree in Industrial
Psychology (Port Elizabeth).
She started her career in the Recruitment industry
and subsequently moved into a role specialising in
Organisational Development within the Security industry.
Here she was promoted to National Human Resources Manager
in a generalist role for two years.
Jill joined ATM Solutions as a Human Resources Manager in
2005. Currently she heads up the HR Department for
the ATM Solutions Group and focuses on areas such as Talent
Acquisition, Retention and Management,
Performance Management, Leadership and Skills Development.

Herman Schouwink - IT Executive
|
Herman is certified with a National Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg and successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Development from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He joined ATM Solutions as an IT Executive in May 2009.
Starting his career in 1992 at FNB, Herman held various responsibilities within the IT Department. Relocating to Absa in 1996, he quickly moved up the ranks and was promoted to the position of Senior IT Manager in 2003. In 2008 Herman accepted the responsibility of IT Director for Credit Management Solutions, later merging with MBD Holdings, a Transaction Capital Group company.
Herman’s main focus in the IT Department is "to make technology work for ATM Solutions" and lives by the philosophy that you can train anyone with the correct attitude and aptitude.
