Welcome to the ATM Solutions Group
The ATM
Solutions Group is the largest independent provider of Payments
Services in Southern Africa.
The evolution of our Group began in 1999 when Steven
Kark founded ATM
Solutions and fulfilled a need in the marketplace for ATMs to
be deployed in locations not traditionally viewed as suitable by
banks. Agreements were signed with Saambou Bank (2000) and Absa
Bank (2002), providing ATM
Solutions with access into Saswitch. To date, ATM
Solutions processes ATM transactions through nine different
banks in Southern Africa.
In 2004 we set about our strategy of moving from
being merely an ATM provider to being more participative in the
general payments space. Two opportunities were identified in the
payments arena. The first was Card Issuing, which resulted in the
founding of DrawCard
- an independent provider of stored value card solutions. The second
was independent Debit & Credit Card Acquiring, satisfied by
EFTPOS
(Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale) whose offerings include
merchant card services and the distribution of Hypercom hardware.
Our most recent acquisition is that of BDB
Data Bureau, specialising in EFT and Payroll solutions, in 2008.
Currently we employ over 300 people, across Southern Africa.
